About my style~

Capturing a moment....The ability to produce in print that which the eye envisions and make it permanent so others can can appreciate the world I see from behind my lens.

A voyeuristic approach...finding life in a natural state and seeing it with a child's perspective....enabling the inner beauty to emerge softly, preciously and free of constraints~ 

I started Soft Shadows Art Photography in 2001 upon the urging of many friends who encouraged me to take my eye for beauty to another level.  This is just a small portion of what I have seen with my cameras....I'm still tracking down the hundreds of thousands of negatives hiding in boxes filled with wonderful visual treasures.

I shoot in various styles depending on what I see in the model and how they would like themselves portrayed. A camera is only a tool, it's the eye behind it that makes the photo come to life.

Every day I look at this world and still enjoy seeing the smile of a child and hope to capture that memory so I can share it with others...
